Find a Line
The 'Find a Line' series came to be after I was teaching students
how to make a tone drawing. The series invites the viewer to find
what looks like lines but are ultimately values of light and dark.
The works are made with a 4x5 film pinhole camera. The forest was
chosen because it is a significant part of the Canadian landscape.
