CARVINGS



Carving Fins, Limbs, and Wings, is about digging,
removing, and taking away.

A body emerges. To carve is to follow the wishes of the file and
the surface, grain and colour of the stone. Carving is true to movement,
pressure and especially rotation. It is invasive. Colours take their course.

Carving is a dialogue. The rocks argue, debate, piss each other off,
spin and move together.
